Patient transport service
If you or a family member are frail or need specialist assistance to and from appointments, we can help.
We provide non-emergency patient transport services in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and parts of Essex.
Non-emergency ambulance and car service
Our patient transport service (PTS) ensures we’re able to give people fair access to vital health services. We make about 500,000 journeys every year to hospitals, treatment centres and other similar facilities.
We offer transport by both ambulance and car. Our ambulance car service is used by patients whose conditions allow them to sit upright while travelling.
Our cars are specially equipped to support patients and are driven by our dedicated volunteers.
Compassionate and comfortable patient transport
We pride ourselves on providing a safe and flexible service for all our patients. By choosing our non-emergency patient transport services, you can expect:
- a listening and responsive service
- a timely, comfortable journey that is suited to your needs
- professional care, delivered with dignity and empathy
- to travel in a well-equipped vehicle with the latest technology.
We try to ensure that journeys are no longer than they need to be. However sometimes travel conditions, distance and accommodating other patients can affect the daily running of the service.
