The Circuit
Defibrillators can save the life of someone experiencing a cardiac arrest. It does this by restarting the heart through an electric shock.
If you’re responsible for a defibrillator, it’s essential you register it with us through the Circuit so we can use it in an emergency.
What is the Circuit?
The Circuit is the national defibrillator network. It aims to map out every defibrillator in the UK so that emergency services can always find and use them.
The Circuit will also help you to maintain and look after your defibrillator. It does this by sending you reminders to check that your device is emergency ready.
If you’d like to learn more or have any questions, look at the Circuit’s frequently asked questions.
